Carol has worked as an HR consultant for over 25 years and has a particular interest in supporting and developing people to achieve their aims and goals within organisations, regardless of the level at which an individual operates.
Carol has a facilitative style, encouraging groups and individuals to identify the most appropriate solutions to issues themselves. Recent projects include the facilitation of change, team building events, leadership development, coaching and mentoring, and use of appropriate tools such as psychometric tests where they add value and offer another dimension to the client. She supports the development of HR strategy and plans for both private and public organisations.
Carol is quickly able to assimilate organisational business needs and provide HR solutions to recognised needs through the involvement of the organisation’s senior management team.
Greg started his publishing career at Centaur Communications where he rose through the ranks to become Associate Publisher on several of their design and media titles. In 1993 he was made Training Director responsible for commissioning, devising, and delivering all training activity within the company. Specifically he wrote and implemented Centaur’s management development programme.
In 1997 Greg left Centaur to become a freelance sales and management trainer. Since then he has worked with many high profile companies within both media and associated areas. These include: EMAP, The Builder Group, Linguaphone, Air Miles, Egg, The Mail On Sunday, Macmillan Publishing, Incisive Media, Penton Media, Conduit, The Mirror Group, MediaCom and Assembly Television.
Greg is also a writer, producing scripts for plays and improvisation, as well as having a book published. He weaves the skills from this other interest to into all his training. This makes for an energetic approach, matched with years of experience and a way of working with people that means he creates a dynamic learning environment.
Roger has worked in four major companies across three different sectors and in three different countries. He has been responsible for talent management and leadership development in a FTSE 100 multinational pharmaceutical organization and has worked with individuals from a broad range of disciplines including finance, human resources, strategy, engineering, quality and compliance. He has also worked with individuals in technology, sales, events management and new entrepreneurs. His business roles have been with Big 5 Accounting / Consulting, Banking and Pharmaceutical companies.
Roger has an informal yet very professional style. His unique selling point stems from his extensive background in line business and HR roles – this is his ability to operate at the deeper values/‘soft’ areas and very effectively bring this to measurable business results and outputs that benefit the individual and organisation.
Roger’s key areas of expertise include: career coaching – exploration, motivation, clarification, transition; executive coaching – leadership style, behavioural; talent management; leadership development; networking expert (how to master networking), very strong business acumen.
With 15 years background in HR Melanie brings project management and consultant experience from a number of large corporate companies, which include RBS, BAA, Centrica, Sainsbury’s, Penna and Clifford Chance. Developing a portfolio business 9 years ago lead her to consolidate her skills and experience and qualify as a Coach. She has a broad business understanding to help clients in transition and those at career crossroads. Melanie has coached a wide range of senior & middle managers from the city and large corporate companies to achieve greater career fulfilment, encouraged and supported a host of career changes and facilitated some inspirational outcomes.
Melanie focuses on all aspects of career development and change, bringing her creative energy, intuition and lateral thinking to her coaching. As a qualified coach Melanie helps clients to fully understand what their skills and talents are and how these can be best utilised; how they can make and balance sustainable changes to improve performance; and build confidence and use this self reflective knowledge to achieve individual brilliance in current and future careers
As a working mum with two young children she is passionate about women and men maintaining their confidence, talents and skills during times of transition and change. She has an excellent understanding about the challenge and support inherent in being a working parent and managing a career with life changes.
Gill has 5 years experience as an executive coach. She combines coaching with her other work with organisations including consultancy, research, workshops and facilitation. She also assists growing SMEs and NFP organisations to discover how they are perceived externally, through research, and to diagnose and solve internal culture and strategic issues, using workplace culture workshops, management team away-days and appreciative inquiry.
Gill spent her early career in leading London advertising agencies, responsible for research and brand strategy development. In 1994 she became a founding partner of Visionpoint, a market research and brand consultancy, working with a very diverse range of client companies.
Gill is Head of Marketing and a Council Member of the Association for Coaching UK, taking the responsibility for organising the AC UK Leadership Coaching Conference in 2010. She holds an AoEC Diploma in Executive Coaching (Academy of Executive Coaching) where she evaluates Foundation accreditation applications. She is a Master Practitioner of NLP and holds Diplomas in Performance Coaching and Life Coaching
Amy started her career in Human Resources over 15 years ago working mainly within the media sector. She has spent the last 6 years working as a facilitator/trainer and more recently a coach.
In 2001 she worked for MTV where she managed the training and development initiatives for 700 staff across the UK. Amy subsequently worked for Channel 4 where she supported the learning and development needs for 350 staff to maximise performance through an individual and team focus.
Amy’s experience includes delivering strategy and development days, coaching, management development, tailored workshops, mentoring programmes and talent management schemes.
Her approach is described as thought provoking and challenging.
