Our team of coaches have years of experience helping people develop their skills, ability and mindset to get the most from their careers. Some of our clients want to plan their first 100 days, others their exit strategy from the world of work.
Whatever you want to change we can help.
Most of our clients are in the corporate world and may have had some feedback on their performance which has created a trigger to have some coaching. Others and especially at board level, may decide that coaching will accelerate their learning and provide support alongside a leadership programme.
However you arrive on our doorstep the first thing we do is have a chemistry meeting and match you with a suitable coach, someone who you feel comfortable with and is a good fit for your experience, industry and needs.
We use that time to explore what you want from coaching and discuss personal and business objectives and make sure they are aligned.
During that meeting we establish how many sessions you might want, venue and best times for you.
For coaching to be truly effective there needs to be an open, trusting and honest relationship so that you can say whatever comes to mind and know that it goes no further. We work with a strict code of practice and assume what you say to us stays with us. Any feedback required from the company is pre-agreed and encouraged to be given by the person being coached.
Initially skeptical of the whole coaching / mentoring process I am now a convert. My introduction to Bec Development was through an internal assessment centre that they had been selected to run on behalf of my employer. As a candidate the process was well thought through and as much as possible in those scenarios I felt reasonably comfortable and “relaxed”. I have subsequently participated in other assessments alongside Bec Development.
The coaching sessions I embarked on with Helen post assessment centre are always rewarding. Having set the ground rules early, I immediately felt comfortable sharing information, thoughts and frustrations with Helen. I also feel reinvigorated and motivated to push ahead with the plans formulated during coaching sessions. In summary the coaching sessions have been a key part of my development over the last 18 months.
