Helen Tiffany Bio

Helen Tiffany has been overseeing Bec Development’s high energy approach to modular learning for commercial clients for nearly two decades. Her passion is to deliver engaging programmes and initiatives that get people thinking differently and that create immediate solutions and benefits.

Initially the company focussed on media clients – Helen herself has a media and sales background – but this has expanded to other industries and the third sector. More recently Bec Development has developed a range of mental health awareness and wellbeing programmes designed to remodel the higher the stress/lower the productivity paradigm that challenges many organisations.

Bec Development clients include leading agencies, blue chips and global brands including Cohn & Wolfe, Ebiquity, Exterion, Financial Times, Havas Media, JCDecaux, Kinetic, lastminute.com, Macmillan, Maxus Global, MediaCom, Meridian, MGOMD, Mindshare, MoneySuperMarket, News UK, OC&C, OMD, Media and UBM.
The Coach House

Helen has since founded The Coach House. This sister company delivers a 60-hr coach training programme accredited by the Association for Coaching – the largest UK professional coaching body – to a growing number of people looking to add coaching skills to existing business skillsets, or make the transition into life and business coaching per se.

The Coach House Coach Training also delivers personal coaching, coach training programmes and courses designed to meet the growing demand for high quality coaching within businesses. It offers a range of solutions, including one-to-one coaching, and in-house coaching skills programmes to an expanding list of clients, working in tandem and independently from Bec Development.

Both companies work to a shared vision: to create and sustain learning cultures and coaching excellence so that businesses and individuals develop and achieve through increasing skills, growing confidence and positive behavioural change.
Creating board level strategy & vision

Executive boards engage Helen to help create their strategy and vision through facilitated sessions and development days. Her experience as a coach also comes into play when developing senior executives.

Her clients describe her style as “challenging- but in a good way” and “gets to the heart of issues and finds practical solutions”.

With a background in both commercial and HR roles, Helen uses this experience to ensure that learning is always aligned to business and represents real value for money.

An advocate of CPD, Helen is often to be found attending seminars and workshops to develop her personal skills, enhance the company offering and to stay fresh in her approach. Over the years she has recruited a team of trainers, coaches and associates that share her values and enable delivery of an ever broadening range of training that combines tried and trusted techniques with the latest thinking.
Executive coach

Helen has extensive experience working with senior management teams and board directors. She is one of a few coaches accredited at Master Executive level in the UK. Her corporate experience spans over 30 years.

Helen believes that coaching helps to facilitate change and accelerate learning to improve performance. Her approach is to use tools and techniques that are bespoke to the individual and to create thinking space, a real commodity in these challenging times.

The coaching needs differ from person to person but recent assignments include: creating 100-day strategies, building confidence and influencing skills, transition coaching into a board position and leadership coaching as part of a programme.

Helen is passionate about the positive effects that coaching can have and this is reflected in her energy, focused approach and commitment to the industry.
Tools and techniques

Qualified to use a variety of tools including the MBTI, Saville Consulting suite of psychometrics, creativity and EI tools and The International Profiler (TIP). Helen has regular supervision and completes around 80 hours of CPD each year.

Helen is also a Strengthscope® Certified Practitioner. Underpinned by 10 years of testing and research, Strengthscope® is an innovative and globally recognised strengths profiling system that helps energize employee peak performance at work.
